 The gulf of Quassa is an inlet that extends between Ispra and Ranco on the shores of Lake Maggiore and has recently became PLIS (Local Park of Supra-municipal Interest).

The path of San Quirico is a circular itinerary that is part of the “Green Paths of the Lakes” and winds around the homonymous mountain.

The easy loop route starts in Uponne where you can leave your car and take the VVL-N1 path. Passing close to the Church of the Madonna del Rosario you can see the sign of the path that proceeds along a dirt road that gradually goes into the woods towards the San Martino Cascine towards San Quirico.
