The suggested path is full of history becasue it goes along the Linea Cadorna between the trenches and forts' ruins.
An easy walk into the woods: starting from the little lake Montegrino (600m), surrounded by many pine trees, you go on followinf the "sentiero degli alpini", crossing the woods. You will reach the fields situated under the top of mount Sette Termini (972m): from there you will enjoy a pretty view on Lake Maggiore and Luino, with Monte Rosa in the background. The path goes on, as the red and white signs show: you will arrive near an agriturismo and from there take the road to Sette Termini.
