- Parco regionale del Campo dei fiori: this is an area wich dominate from above the territory. During years the envoironment flourisshed and now it's a very rich place of different species. It offers a large number of paths further the astonishing panorams.
In the nearby: Very close to Campo dei Fiori there's the Sacro Monte of Varese, one of the four UNESCO sites existent in the territory

- Mulini di Piero and Monteviasco: they are located in Veddasca valley, nearly to the switzerland bond. It's possible reach both of them only by foot. Mulini di Piero are ancient constructions built with local wood and stone, immersed in a mountain landscape. Monteviasco is a little village completely isolated, not reachable by car just with and old rural path.

- Parco della Quassa:it's a protected park overlooking the Lake Maggiore, from Ranco city to Ispra furnaces. It's rich of a plenty different species.

- Brebbia Laghetasc: it is a marshy area located inside a wood on the motto Pivione (laghetasch, dialect term for a small lake). The area can be reached either on foot or by bicycle and is a short itinerary suitable for those who love quiet and mostly flat walks. There are characteristic American bald cypresses (also known as swamp cypresses), a plant of North American origin introduced into the environment by the owner of the site; during the autumn period, it offers pleasant photographs of foliage and it is an opportunity to collect not only chestnuts and mushrooms, but also to observe the different species of animals.

- Piana di Vegonno: it's located in Azzate and it's one of the most beautiful places in the province where to walk. It's a flat handy all path. It's suitable in all seasons, in autumn expecially it gifts a colorfull panorama.
In the nearby: Torba Monastery it's witness of a millannial history. Now it's a prayer center for Benedictine nuns and one of the many FAI goods existing on our territory.
