Insubriparks is the set of five nature parks between Italy and Switzerland. The project is co-financed by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund, the Italian Republic, the Swiss Confederation and the Cantons under the Interreg V-A Italy-Switzerland Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.
Thanks to this cooperation, five Italian and Swiss regional parks are working together to affirm the beauty and richness of Insubriparks, the insubric parks.
The creation of a common space in which to propose and describe the activities of the five parks and also implement a tourist cooperation with different actors of the territory is the thrust that gave rise to the portal Insubriparkstourism
The Spina Verde Park, the Campo dei Fiori Park, the Pineta Park, the Politecnico di Milano and the Pro Val Mulini association for Italy; the Supsi (University of Applied Sciences of Italian Switzerland), the park Gole della Breggia and the Park of Penz Chiasso for Switzerland, with the Regional Tourist Organization of Mendrisiotto and Basso Ceresio are the engines of Insubriparks.
The goal is to create synergies and collaborations so that the insubric parks show everyone their profile also with regard to eco-tourist and cultural accommodation, all within the wide tourist proposal of Lake Como, of the natural area of Varese and Mendrisiotto.
