It will open to the public on June 30, 2023 the exhibition "Eugenio Manghi. Half a century of photography" at Masnago Castle. This exhibition will remain open to the public until September 17, 2023.
Eugenio Manghi, a well-known photographer and documentary filmmaker, offers three sections in this anthological exhibition: the first was created and previewed by FAI in 1999 to celebrate the birth of the Canadian province of Nunavut (Our Land, in the Inuit language). In the second section, the photographs were chosen from those produced over more than 45 years, seeking to most adequately represent the author's long work in Africa, Europe, Italy and especially the Arctic.
Finally, Manghi's homage to Varese: although Manghi has traveled extensively and has made at least twice a "round-the-world trip" beyond the 60th parallel, his love and care for the Garden City have led him to an immense production of images about Varese and its province.
