Monte Pelada is a pretty hill 472mt height, covered by trees and that overlooks the lakes. The route starts in Osmate and climbs up the hill and through some woods where you can see the type of vegetation typically found on glacial hills. Chestnut trees are common along with Scots pines, oak trees and birches, while there are few exotic species, such as robinia and black cherry, which is a sign of well-managed woodland. Once over the top of the hill the route descends to Lentate, through very similar countryside.
