The itinerary starts from the beautiful Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ghianda, through wide meadows bathed by small springs in the protected area of ​​the Parco del Ticino.

The itinerary is almost entirely on dirt paths, with some crossings of busy roads, where you need to pay close attention.

Via Gaggio is one of the most picturesque cycle-pedestrian roads that cross the territory of Lonate Pozzolo. The route begins a short distance from Viale Ticino and is marked by a sign indicating the distance from the former Austro-Ungaricadi Lonate Customs, now Centro Parco.
