Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September sees the return of the European Heritage Days, Europe's largest cultural event with guided tours of museums and cultural venues across Europe.
The Italian theme of the GEP 2024, chosen by the Council of Europe and shared by the countries participating in the event, ‘Heritage on the move’ takes up the European slogan ‘Routes, Networks and Connections’ and invites us to reflect on the value of cultural heritage in relation to paths, communication routes, connections and networks that, today or in the past, have made relations and exchanges between peoples and cultures possible and contributed to the formation of our identity.
Varese also joins the initiative and proposes various activities over the two days.
The first appointment not to be missed is scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday 28 September.
A treasure hunt through the historical, artistic and natural heritage preserved in the Estensi Gardens and the Villa Mirabello Park.
