Festa della Montagna 2023

From 10 to 15 August, Varese and the Piazzale dell'ex Grand Hotel Campo dei Fiori will be the venue for the Mountain Festival.

HOW TO REACH THE FESTIVAL:

It will be possible to reach the festival exclusively by shuttle bus, a service operating from 10 a.m. to midnight. Vehicles used for transporting the disabled with a badge, motorbikes and bicycles will always be allowed to pass.

GASTRONOMY STANDS:

The food stand will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on 15 August until 5 p.m.

19th Alpine Motorcycle Rally

Friday 11 August 2023 meeting point from 8.30 a.m. in Piazza della Repubblica.

After registration, at about 10.30 a.m., there will be a motorbike tour around Varese, ending at lunchtime at the "Festa della Montagna" on Monte Campo dei Fiori.

Here you will be offered an aperitif and, if you wish, can enjoy typical 'Alpine' specialities while admiring a breathtaking view from the balcony overlooking the Pre-Alps, lakes and the Lombardy plain.

The rally is open to all types of motorbikes, scooters and quads.

8th 'Tre Croci' Time Trial

Whether cycling, running or walking, everyone can participate in the 'Tre Croci' hill-climb time trial. Open to cyclists, runners and e-bikers (helmets are compulsory for cyclists and e-bikers).

Registration and free start from Via Quintino Sella (Bivio Velate) from 8.30 to 11.00 a.m.
Possibility of pre-registration and race packet collection at the Festa della Montagna cash desk from 10 August.

Burraco Charity Tournament

Grand Hotel Campo dei Fiori Hall.
Conveniently reachable by shuttle bus from Palasport, Via Manin - Varese (free parking).
Participation fee 10 €

The proceeds of the event will be donated to "Il Basket siamo noi" to finance the project "Insieme per il Campetto di Basket".
The aim of the project is the renovation of the basketball court currently inside the "Aldo Levi" sports centre in the Giubiano district.
