On November 5, 2023, the traditional Castagnata al Ticino organized by Rione Mulini in Sesto Calende returns.
From 11 a.m. until sunset, you can enjoy sausage sandwiches with grilled peppers and onions, French fries, beer, and most importantly, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.
Guests can enjoy great food using the tables by the river and relax while looking at the beautiful view.

The castagnata will be held in Sesto Calende in the Rione Mulini, on the Leandro Mattea towpath at the intersection with Viale Ticino, in the Yellow House area.

Proceeds from the Castagnata will be used to fund the Christmas Gospel Concert, a free admission event. The GREENSLEEVES GOSPEL CHOIR, an award-winning ensemble of 25 choristers, will perform on 25 November, 2023 at the Church of the Mulini.
