The Park of the Ticino Valley

Established in 1974, the Parco Lombardo del Ticino was the first regional park in Italy. The aim was to safeguard the rivers and the many natural habitats in the Ticino Valley from the increasingly more frequent and invasive encroachment of the industrialisation and urbanisation in the surrounding area.

As always the Decennial Festival of St. Titus is a welcome opportunity for the people of Casorate Sempione to come together to enjoy a little friendly competition and join forces to build something wonderful.

Casorate is getting ready for the upcoming Decennial Festival of St. Titus, a special event that is celebrated every ten years. The tenth edition of the festival, which was first held in 1926, will be held in September 2016 – 340 years after the relics of the martyr St. Titus arrived in Casorate.
