• Reaching the top of Sacromonte and enjoying the spectacular view from above over the city - there are many families, groups of friends or the faithful who on Sundays decide to walk the Via Sacra through the XIV chapels until reaching the Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Monte which releases an exciting view.
• Visit the Hermitage of Santa Caterina in Leggiuno - one of the most scenic points of Lake Maggiore, founded on a rocky wall, it is formed by the union of 3 chapels. It can be reached via the boat, a staircase or, even via the lift carved into the rock, overcoming a difference in height of 51m. It is the destination of many faithful during the time of Holy Mass.
• Visit the Borromeo Castle, dominator of the Verbano area - the medieval building offers a scene on the lake and contains historical testimonies that are remembered in the room of justice. Inside you can visit the Doll and Toy Museum. The medieval garden is divided into different areas and has about 100 varieties of plants.

• Walking in Corso Matteotti and indulge in some shopping.
• Discover the Estense Palace with its gardens - it is the seat of the town hall of the capital; it was the residence of Francesco III d'Este, Lord of Varese. The gardens, similar to those of Schönbrunn, are very characteristic and are considered among the most beautiful Italian public parks. Furthermore, inside the property there is also Villa Mirabello, which currently houses the Civic Museums.
