The nineteenth-century dam of Panperduto, an important hydraulic junction, also called Canale Villoresi from the name of the engineer who designed it, today, as well as being its original function, is the starting point for beautiful walks along the Ticino river.
Our itinerary starts from the dam where you can see an ancient disused sea basin. It runs along the catchment area of the canals on the asphalt road. After crossing the bridge, you can see another disused sea basin and take a narrow dirt path that runs along the water. Here the vegetation thickens among farnie, robinie, poplars and willows until reaching the beach called the Fogatore. The parking called "fishermen".
It is possible that the starting point is the E1 path that passes along the towpath road.
*The itinerary is also suitable for mountain biking.
