The artists Jean-Marc Amigues, Daniele Cestari, Marta Mezynska and Tomàs Sunyol show Varese and its beautiful landscapes thorugh four antithetical lenses.
The exhibition 4 LOOKS AT THE CITY - AMIGUES, CESTARI, MEZYNSKA, SUNYOL INTERPRET VARESE will be open from Saturday, 11 February until Saturday, 11 March at the PUNTO SULL'ARTE Gallery.
French artist, JEAN-MARC AMIGUES, depicts the different sides of the city through his vibrant brushstrokes, emphasizing the role of nature and history. DANIELE CESTARI, on the other hand, with his rapid brushstrokes delivers an innovative perspective of the streets of Vareseto the public, involving the observer in the architectural details shown. Polish-born artist MARTA MEZYNSKA leads back to order through her passion for geometry. The representation of rationalist architecture allows her to eliminate the surrounding space and create an abstract dimension. TOMÀS SUNYOL, a Catalan artist who expresses himself in a neo-Cubist form, recreates the streets and squares of Varese in a fluid and hypnotic way, leading the viewer to reconstruct them in his own mind.
On the first day of the exhibition's opening, the Vernissage will be held from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. at 59/61 Viale Sant'Antonio in Varese. Afterwards, at 6 p.m., the curator Alessandra Redaelli will present the essence of the exhibition to the public.
