The Brebbia Pipe Museum was established in 1979 at the behest of Ragionier Enea Buzzi, founder of Pipe Brebbia Srl and a well-known pipe collector. However, the Brebbia Museum is unique in that Enea Buzzi did not only collect antique pipes, but also researched the evolution of the pipe since its inception in different cultures. Thus, after collecting around 6,000 pipes, he devoted himself to their classification, which he then made public with numerous writings containing accurate studies on their origin, year and design.
On display at the Museum are unique and extremely rare pieces such as the cigar pipes designed for motorcyclists: they had an internal cooker with a spring-loaded crusher, or pipes made by the most important artists in the fields of painting, sculpture or reading such as Bennati, Baj, Brera, Burger, Lucchina, Ferriani, A. Pomodoro.
