The Laghi D'Insubria winery has viticulture and winemaking as its corporate mission, respecting and enhancing the typical characteristics of the territory and environmental sustainability.
In fact, it grows mainly native grapes such as Nebbiolo and Vespolina but also Merlot for the Rossi IGT Ronchi Varesini wines, Erbaluce, Chardonnay and Riesling for the Bianco IGT Ronchi Varesini wine, Croatina and Syrah for the Rosé IGT Ronchi Varesini wine. The flagship is the production of grapes for Passiti da Meditazione with Nebbiolo, Erbaluce and Malvasia grapes.
In the vineyard and in the cellar, the cultivation, treatment of the grapes and management of winemaking take place with a view to the circular economy, sustainability, energy saving and the use of renewable energy.
Wine tourism and hospitality activities complete our offer for tourism that is attentive to the young, convivial, joyful and playful side of wine and to the human values, history and local culture of wine and the territory.
The winery and wine tourism are in Albizzate, in the heart of the moreinic hills of Varese county, along the Arno Valley, among the Pre-Alpine lakes and is crowned by the Alps, over 350 meters above sea level, at the Tenuta Quadrelli at Cascina Bertolina.
