The beautiful villa, located in the heart of Varese, overlooks a magnificent Italian garden and houses a world-famous contemporary art collection created since the 1950s by Giuseppe Panza di Biumo: over 150 works by American artists, inspired by to the themes of light and color. Donated to FAI in 1996, the complex was opened to the public in September 2000 after a demanding restoration campaign.
Art exhibitions, design or fashion events, but not only, find a perfect setting in the stables of Villa Panza, already destined by Count Panza himself to host works from his collection. In the halls of the villa and in the splendid hornbeam it is possible to organize exclusive lunches and dinners, business meetings and conferences. The villa houses the Luce restaurant, led by Matteo Pisciotta and Andrea Piantanida, where creativity is the watchword. The dishes are prepared using raw materials that arrive from the garden and from the orchards of the park, with an eye to the Italian tradition and in particular to the products of the Varese area.
