• 1st Day: Varese Lake bike tour - Virginia Island

Together with our Travel specialist, a true connoisseur of local places and experiences, on your bikes (possibility of rental on site) we will begin to travel the entire cycle-pedestrian path that frames the wonderful Varese Lake, nestled between green hills, meadows, agricultural areas and placed at the foot of the spectacular Massiccio del Campo dei Fiori which, with its peaks, is part of the Varesine Prealps. On clear days we will admire Monte Rosa which stands out clearly, wrapped in a magical light. The shores of the lake are rich in elegant villas and pleasant villages that harmonize well with the liveliness of the landscape.

A simple tour (28KM in total), pausing in the most evocative and panoramic points that will give us evocative views of the lake, the surrounding woods and green meadows.

Halfway we will reach the town of Biandronno where a small boat, with a short and romantic navigation on the blue waters of the lake, will take us to Isolino Virginia the place because where everything came to life: it is in fact the oldest pile-dwelling settlement in the Alpine Arch that has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List "Prehistoric pile-dwelling sites in the Alps".
Once landed, lunch “overlooking the lake” with a menu prepared with local products.

One more souvenir photo, a look at the lake and then back on the saddle to complete the missing route, and return to the starting point through rural courtyards, beaches and parks.

At the end of our lake tour, dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

• 2nd Day: Luino - Bike path along the river

After breakfast, always in the company of our Travel Specialist, departure for the charming town LUINO which rises on the shores of the nearby MAGGIORE LAKE and considered, thanks to its strategic position, the portal towards the Europe.
On our bikes (here too there is the possibility of renting) we will start the easy path that winds along the Margorabbia river, immersing ourselves in fantastic bucolic landscapes. On our route (11 KM outward + 11 KM back) among poplars, willows, acacias and waterways, we will breathe nature and savor the scent of this land.

Stop at one of the many farmhouses for a genuine lunch at the end of which we will resume the journey in the opposite direction, before reaching Luino. A walk along the lakefront for a refreshing ice cream and the end of this fantastic two-day adventure between lakes and valleys.

Note: It is recommended that you bring your own bicycle. Possible rental with extra charge upon reservation.
