The La Camelia farmhouse, in Taino, is located on a hill in the middle of beautiful woods and has rooms to stay. Given the greenery and silence, it is the ideal place to take long walks. It also offers the possibility of renting bicycles with a guide and getting to know farmyard animals. It offers educational farm activities with small projects to be carried out during the day and, given the outdoor space, it is also possible to organize birthday parties for children.
The company has been growing Sasanqua and Japonica varieties of camellias and azaleas for two generations. It is able to supply two-year-old seedlings, up to the specimen of camellias. It also has a large assortment of herbaceous perennials that can be used in rock gardens as borders.
The farm has developed the cultivation of typical products of the earth, such as vegetables and fruit. Harvest vegetables in general including salads, aubergines, courgettes, tomatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, pumpkins, melons and fruits such as pears, peaches, plums, blueberries, red and black currants are grown, both for educational and refreshment purposes.
