The province of Varese is a reference point for fans of engines and aeronautics, with a series of unique experiences that tell the story of legendary companies and technological innovations. Discover the icons of motorcycling and aeronautics in some of the most fascinating facilities in the region.

MV AGUSTA: Located on the shores of Lake Varese, the MV Agusta factory offers an unmissable experience for fans. Visit the production line of legendary craft motorcycles, a journey that retraces the history of a company that since 1945 has been a symbol of Italian motorcycling in the world.

FONDAZIONE MUSEO AGUSTA: This museum tells the story of Italian excellence in the two-wheeled and aeronautical sectors. Discover innovative racing motorcycles and helicopters, with first-hand accounts from former Agusta workers. The visit also includes the flight simulator and the historic Villa Agusta, now home to the Historical Archive, which opens its doors every Sunday to relive the atmosphere of the 1930s.

FRERA MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM: In the heart of Tradate, inside the old Frera factory, the museum tells the story of one of the first Italian motorcycle houses, active from 1905 to 1936. With an exhibition of 25 original motorcycles and historical models from iconic brands such as MV Agusta, Cagiva, Gilera and Moto Guzzi, the museum also offers a thematic library and a café for an experience between engines and passion.

VOLANDIA: The Varese Flight Park and Museum offers a complete experience of the history of aeronautics, exploring the different forms of flight, from the first flights in hot air balloons to the convertible plane. With five exhibition areas, one dedicated to children and a simulation area, the museum is the ideal place to learn about the evolution of flight, with indoor and outdoor spaces, historical archives and film screenings.

MUSEO FLAMINIO BERTONI: Inaugurated in 2007, the Flaminio Bertoni Museum is located within the Parco e Museo del Volo - Volandia in Somma Lombardo (VA) and is dedicated to the figure of one of the greatest Italian car designers. Flaminio Bertoni, known for his innovative talent, began his career as an apprentice at the Macchi body shop, but it was in France that his creativity was recognized by André Citroën, with whom he collaborated on the design of iconic vehicles such as the Traction Avant, the DS and the 2CV. The museum tells its story, from the first experiments to the creation of some of the most famous cars of the 20th century. A journey into automotive design and innovation that has marked the history of global motor racing.
