The church of San Quirico is located in Angera on top of the hill that gives it its name. It has ancient origins and appears for the first time in a document dating back to the 13th century.

The church has experienced several construction phases, the earliest being the construction of the apse and the structure was completed in later centuries.

The interior of the place of worship is shrouded in semi-darkness and urges meditation, inviting to silence.

To reach it, it is necessary to walk along a section of the panoramic path and then follow the signs to the Church of San Quirico, from which you can admire a breathtaking landscape.

The people of Angera are very devoted to this place and go there to celebrate on Easter Monday and 25 April according to tradition.
