the 'Fondazione Marcello Morandini' is pleased to announce its first season of chamber music. This ambitious project was also created to pay homage to Karin and Karl Megerle, a couple of American collectors who are passionate not only about art but also about music, whose generous donation has contributed in a fundamental way to the realisation of the museum dedicated to the work of Marcello Morandini.

'Sintonie' aims to be a place of encounter and culture, in which moments of high performance level are mixed with real moments of human interaction. During the concerts, which will range mainly from duo to solo performances, an authentic exchange of listening and relationships will be encouraged, in which the music, the performers and the audience will be at the centre of an engaging dialogue.

Between pieces, the musicians will have the opportunity to freely share details of the concert or personal reflections, thus enriching the experience of those present. At the end of the concert, there will be the opportunity to share a second dialogue, accompanied by a glass of prosecco, to further enrich the musical experience.

This exclusive concert series will take place on the second Sunday of each month at 11 a.m. (or the first, in the specific case of 4 August) from 12 May to 8 December 2024. In addition to access to the concert, the public will have the opportunity, included in the ticket price, to visit the new temporary exhibition that will open in early May, along with the museum's extensive permanent collection, before the start of the musical performance.

Eight concerts, where a total of 13 musicians will perform, including 10 Professors from the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the exceptional presence of conductor Michele Gamba at the piano.
