The mountain village of Boarezzo is preparing to live a unique experience of immersion in nature with the event "Boarezzo in Trippata", organized by the Association of Friends of Boarezzo, which will be held on Saturday 3 May and Sunday 4 May 2025 in the picturesque setting of Piazza Salvadori.

An unmissable opportunity to get in touch with the fascinating world of day and night birds of prey, thanks to a rich program of free activities: scientific dissemination, excursions, workshops for children and meetings with internationally renowned experts.

Saturday 3 May - A day of science, emotion and adventure

From 10am to 6pm: exhibition of birds of prey with the possibility of observing up close extraordinary specimens such as owl, barn owl, golden eagle, allock and many others. The event will be accompanied by scientific explanations of Maura Luoni of the association Terra Incantata, expert in naturalistic dissemination.

At 2 pm: walk in the forest with birds of prey and naturalistic workshop dedicated to the youngest, to bring children and young people closer to the world of wildlife in an engaging and educational way.

At 8.30 pm: presentation of the book "Forbidden Gufare" by Marco Mastrorilli and Stefania Montanino, with spectacular projections of naturalistic videos. Marco Mastrorilli, internationally renowned ornithologist (awarded in the USA in 2015 as best world expert on owls), author of 28 books and environmental guide AIGAE, will accompany the public on a journey through mysteries, myths and science dedicated to nocturnal raptors.

At 21.30: night out in the forest to discover the nocturnal birds of prey in freedom, led by Marco Mastrorilli.

In case of bad weather, the event on Saturday will be cancelled.

Sunday 4 May - Nature and flavours

From 12:00: opening of the gastronomic stand with local products to taste the flavors of the territory.
(The Sunday event will also be held in case of bad weather.)
