Where Lake Maggiore tapers off and becomes Ticino again are the hills of Golasecca, on whose slopes vine agriculture has developed since ancient times; Monte Tabor is the hill on which Tenuta Tovaglieri's land extends. The agriturismo's activity extends from wine production to fruit and vegetable growing for its own restaurant to create seasonal and traditional dishes. Lunches, dinners and refreshments for ceremonies and anniversaries are also organised. Four comfortable rooms are available inside the farmhouse, and the outdoor whirlpool bath can be used all year round: a suitable location for spending a romantic weekend or a few days immersed in the relaxation of the estate's park and experiencing the territory of the province of Varese and its lakes and the Ticino river.

A kitchen with traditional dishes, pasta is strictly homemade, from tagliatelle to ravioli and gnocchi combined with condiments using raw materials from the garden or local producers of cured meats, cheeses and meats. risotto is always on the menu: we like to interpret traditional recipes and dare with unusual combinations.
desserts are for all tastes: from traditional cakes to spoon desserts. from the orchard strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cherries, plums, peaches, pears, apples, figs ...
The rooms
Set in the context of the agriturismo are four comfortable, newly renovated rooms with large bathrooms. The service offered is that of overnight stay and breakfast with the possibility of dining and lunch on the days the agriturismo is open and living a unique experience.
Wine farm
The main activity of the farm is the cultivation of vines and the production of wine; two hectares of nebbiolo, barbera, merlot, pinot noir, chardonnay and Manzoni crossbreed, grapes whose combination has given life to the unique wines on offer. it should be noted that on 11 october 2005 the Ronchi Varesini Igt certificate was obtained; the typical geographical indication is an important recognition of the typicality and quality of our wine. in addition, the 'vini varesini' mark imprinted on the label guarantees that the product is 100% local, from cultivation to production. the farm is located in the Ticino park area, adhering to the 'controlled production with the Ticino park mark' project, which indicates respect for the environment and the production and processing phases.
The wine cellar is equipped for all stages after the harvest, from destemming, crushing, to vinification and ageing, and concluding with bottling: many operations are carried out manually and under the careful supervision of oenologist Alessandro Loconsole.
