CABLE CAR OF LAKE MAGGIORE:

Mount Sasso del Ferro, above Laveno, can be reached on foot or by cable car, which starts from Laveno Mombello and climbs gently almost to the top. Dogs are allowed inside the cable car. As for the rates, dogs weighing more than 4 KG pay 2 euros.

CABLE CAR OF THE SACRO MONTE:

The Varese Funicular is the historic train that leads to the Sacro Monte. The departure is at the "Vellone" station and leads directly to the Borgo. Dogs are allowed inside the train and will have to pay the ordinary ticket of 1 euro. Guide dogs are exempt from paying the funicular ticket.
